This series is a look at New Jersey Transit operations in the early years from the late 1970s into the mid-1980s. 

Volume 3 covers New Jersey Transit operations on the Hoboken, Raritan, Jersey Coast and ex-Erie lines between August 1981 and August 1982 

New equipment, changes in service to the Philadelphia to Newark trains, service on the Northeast Corridor, a ride on the ex-CNJ, now Raritan line, from Somerville to Phillipsburg and return and a rare April 1982 blizzard event which snarled traffic and commuter service in the New York Metro and surrounding areas. 

Again, footage comes from noted cinematographers Ralph Curcio, Dan McFadden and Dave Deyo.
