Northeast Rail Variety is a series featuring a mix of railroads from the areas in the northeast from a variety of eras. 

Volume one features a wide range railroads in Maine and Massachusetts shot in the early 1980s on original Super 8mm sound film from photographers Ralph Curcio via the Dan McFadden collection and David Deyo 

Railroads featured in this program are Maine Central, Grand Trunk, Portland Terminal, Belfast & Moosehead Lake, Bangor and Aroostook, Canadian Pacific, Central of Vermont, Mass Central and we close with a look at the Grafton & Upton
